Let's talk about: contemporary art (by Account deleted)

Of course, some contemporary art isn't so simple and „meaningless”. It may have very deep concepts behind it and much feelings that we don't have any clue about.

As an art lover, I usually think much before taking a conclusion about a work of art. Mostly it is about what artwork transmits us. From happiness to sadness, an artwork is something complex, even though it is only some ordinary square, some random lines or a portrait.

Contemporary art, also, isn't just a mashup of random elements, as some may think. As you see in the artwork above, it could be a portrait, something that looks realistic. Not all contemporary art is made of squares, and I personally want people to understand that. Art is made to make us feel something burning deep inside our hearts. It's made to let people express themselves and make them meet people with the same opinions as them.

Even though some may love it and some may hate it, contemporary art is art, and it will always be. It's not the fact that it doesn't transmit any feelings, but it's the fact that we don't try enough to understand it.

Hello there, everyone! Iu here, after a little pause of one week.
As far as you can see, we'll talk about contemporary art today, a subject that intrigues most people. And why?
Well, most of the people simply don't try and find a meaning behind the work of art they are looking at. Surely, most of the time you may think there's nothing special and deep behind such a simplistic painting, sculpture or whatever, but if you think about it, you can really find some meaning.

Like, let's take this artwork made by Kazimir Malevich:

Even the title says that it is just a simple black square. But let's get into some creative thinking, alright? If you try and analyze how it is conceived, you can make some connections. Black symbolises death, sadness, but white is its opposite, since it symbolises purity, happiness, innocence.

Let's try and think out of the box. This way, we'll get the chance of discovering deep meanings and also discover ourselves.

And now, as an end until the next article, I want to ask you guys some questions.

Thank you Eli for this truly wonderful layout!

Contemporary art to me is necessary, especially in this day and age. Because right now, everything needs to have a meaning, every objects needs to have a purpose, otherwise it doesn't exist, people are obsessed with meanings and metaphors and trying to find gold in under every house. Contemporary art offers a way out because of its abstraction, sometimes, it has no meaning, no deeper layer or story. It's just there because it's beautiful, and I think that's beautiful.

Ah, this was a nice article. I think every genre of art is important and it's possible to find a meaning in pretty much anything.

Also I will be honest and confess that I got startled when the music started playing.
