Designer Appreciation ~ An Interview with LeeTaemin (by LoveIsALaserquest )
Hi guys, Georgia here!
This week I've teamed up with the Event Team and LeeTaemin to bring you all a little something special. We wanted to show the wonderful people who design for us some appreciation. So, we are going to do this series where ET and NT team up to bring you some lovely codes from the designer as well as an interview for you all to get the know the designers.

Hi! Thanks for taking part in this interview. I'm just going to jump right in and start with the questions.
What program do you use when designing? I use PaintTool Sai and a Wacom Cintiq c:
Out of everything you've designed, what's your favourite thing? Oh that's a bit hard x-x But maybe these: I've always been terrible at designing shoes, but lately I've gotten better and because of that those shoes might be my favourite designed item. Also the chokers ahaha xD
Ohh wow, they're gorgeous! Would totally love a pair :) They look so cool. And onto the next question.
What inspires your work? My designs are mostly inspired by kpop and music in general, but I also try to see things IRL, from movies and get inspired by my favourite artists online.
I think it's really cool that your designs are inspired by things like Kpop because I know that a lot of people on VP love that kind of stuff so I have a feeling your designs will really be liked and enjoyed!
Who on VP inspires you the most? I have to say all the designers and all the artist, there isn't anyone in particular. But there is a lot of talented people on this site that works hard on their passion for art and they inspire me a lot ^_^
I love that, it's really sweet that other people's talent and passion inspires you c:
Do you have any tips or tricks to anyone who isn't too sure about designing or is looking to improve? First of all you need patience, there's no hope in getting better if you expect everything to be perfect the minute you start. Try to find good photos of clothing that you want to design and look at how the fabric and stuff flows, you could also look a bit at how others do it. Try something, and if you fail the first time, try again. I also think that others opinions can help quite a lot, ask about what's good so you can go further on that part and what could have been done better. And last, but not least, don't give up.
This is really great advice. I know I've tried designing myself and I've always given up as soon as it's not been perfect. I may have another go and keep your tips in mind!
What was the first thing you designed on VP? The first ever design I did on VP was after only an hour here, finding out that everyone could design for the avatars made me so happy that I jumped into it. Wow, your first design is fab, it's so much better than mine xD
What are your favourite items on vp? I have quite a lot of those, but... I think I must say the items from Ennui and Zodiacs collaboration on the Suga "Young Forever" photoshoot design, every item is so pretty and beautiful.
I have to agree, they have some really beautiful items on VP. There are some really talented people on VP!
Ok enough about designing now, let's find out some more about you outside of designing!
What's your name and how long have you been on VP? My name is Ida and I have been on vp since the 14th of February this year (2016).

What's your favourite thing about VP? My favourite thing is the possibility to make looks with all the amazing items people have given their spare time to make.
It really is a great thing, isn't it. Where would we be without awesome people like yourself designing these items so we can all look fabulous!?
What do you like to do outside of VP? Any hobbies/interests? As already known through my designing I love to be creative, I have been drawing ever since I can remember and will hopefully never lose that interest, also I like to film, make animations, take pictures and I do write a little. I love to sing (not that I'm so good at it) and music is a big part of my everyday life, couldn't go a day without it and I can't forget watching movies and tv-series too c:
It sounds like you have a lot of interests then! Very jealous of your designing and drawing talents. I'm terrible... I once made a Wind Turbine I had to draw for since look like a droopy sad flower.. oops. I feel you with the singing and music part, though, what would the world be without singing and music.
Favourite food? That must be salmon with creamed potatoes, and spring rolls.
Sounds good minus the salmon xD must say, I'm not a fan haha.
