Donating to charities is an amazing way to not only spread awareness but to majorly help people who are in need. For my article, I was inspired by other's kindness to make this promoting some of my personal favourite charities/organisations.

Happy Hippie
This charity was founded by Miley Cyrus back in 2014. Its main goal was to tackle welfare of homeless youth, the LGBTQ community, women's rights and other social justice issues. In order to promote the Charity, Miley Cyrus did backyard sessions in 2015 singing with other famous celebrities in an attempt to spread the word about the charity. At the 2014 VMAs, Miley Cyrus welcomed a homeless friend Jesse Helt to do a speech discussing homeless youth with the goal to raise awareness. All of the costs for the Charity were founded privately.

Best Friends Animal Society
This charity was founded in 1991 and is a nonprofit organization based around Animal Welfare. One of the Charity's biggest accomplishments was its success in decreasing the amount of deaths in animal shelters. They managed to change the numbers from 17 million all the way down to 4 million. They do all of this for all different types of animals! There is also an amazing feature on their website where you can adopt a dog or puppy. You can look at all the cute dogs/puppies and select which one you'd be interested in purchasing. There are over a hundred dogs to choose from!

You can donate to this nonprofit charity using the website bestfriends.org and help decrease deaths in animal shelters.

This Charity is well known for being helpful towards not only children in one specific country but all across the world in other countries. Their main long term goal is to help save children's lives and lead them towards a better, more improved future. An example of a crisis they help is the recent Syria emergency, which lead to children being injured and close to death. Since they have a major shortage in food and clean, drinking water. It is now urgent to get them the supplies they need. That's one of the main reasons I believe the Save The Children charity is majorly useful. In addition, this foundation will also be providing warm blankets, winter clothes and fuels to make sure they can survive.
Furthermore, Save the Children supply children with any emotional support they may need!

All 3 of these charities have a major influence on the world and are helpful in extremely different ways. This is just a few small, diverse examples but through research and advertisements you can find many useful and amazing charities.
