Happy New Year, everyone! We, the NewsTeam, are excited for what this new year has in store. We are looking forward to get the daily news up and running again with regular articles, and we are working on some fresh new ideas for the section, but will also bring back some old favourites. But first, as there are some new team members, we thought it would be fitting if we introduced ourselves to you all.

I’m Sebbe and I’m 18 years old and from Sweden. I’m currently in my last year of upper secondary school and I’m studying behaviour (like psychology, pedagogy and so on). I’m a huge animal lover and I also love to travel, bake, write and sing.

- How did you discover VP?

When Swedish goSupermodel was getting close to its end I saw multiple people talking about VP in the threads so I thought I would check it out; I did and here we are today!

- What’s your favourite thing about VP?

I love dress up games so hanging around in my and others’ wardrobes is a huge part of why I’m on VP. I also love all my friends on VP and they are a huge part of why I’m still on VP!

- What was your first reaction when you saw you made it into NT?

I was really happy and excited! There were a few, for me, new people that made it into the NT and I was, and still am, very excited to get to know them!

- What do you do in NT?

I’m a writer, so I write texts for articles!

- What’s your favourite food?

Hmm… It’s really hard to choose just one thing… I love to eat and I love food… But if I were to choose only one I think it would be tofu sushi!

- What’s your favourite colour?

TURQUOISE! I have so much turquoise stuff in my room hehe…

- Do you have any pets?

Yes, I do! Three cats to be precise! They all are so cute but also very crazy, but I still love them! In the future I plan to get myself even more cats and a dog, I really love animals.

I’m Matty, I’m a twenty-year-old from Sweden. I studied art in upper secondary but decided to go a different route for university and last year I started to study translation. I still love creative things though and spend most of my free time drawing. I also like to write and every once in a while, I’ll spend a day just reading.

- How did you discover VP?
I think I was googling “sites like gosupermodel” one day when I was feeling nostalgic, and upon creating an account I came to the conclusion that I had found the site probably in the same way before and never logged on again, so second time’s the charm I guess?  

- What's your favourite thing about VP?
I love creating outfits and thus of course fashion contest. I also love hanging around the forums, it’s definitely one of my favourite ways to kill time.

- What was your first reaction when you saw you made it into NT?
I tend not to have huge reactions to things, but a little excited, I suppose!

- What do you do in NT?
Layouting!

- What's your favourite food?
Nothing beats tacos!

- What's your favourite colour?
Anything that can be considered an earth tone. The big favourite is green!

- Do you have any pets?
I wish, but sadly, no.

Hi! My name is Andreea (but everyone calls me Era), I am 16 years old and I am from Romania. Some of you might know that before News Team I was in the Blogger Team as a writer (and a lowkey layouter). I’m an amateur photographer, I really like to take and edit photos of things but especially of landscapes. I’m also a bookworm who loves to read fantasy and romance. I really like to watch TV shows and k-dramas.

- How did you discover VP?

I discovered VP through a promotion link. A friend of mine posted the link in a Facebook group and I clicked it because it seemed like a nice game.

- What's your favourite thing about VP?

There are several things I love about VP but I think collecting credits is my favourite thing, haha.

- What was your first reaction when you saw you made it into NT?

I was like “OMG THIS REALLY JUST HAPPENED?!” Since it was my 3rd time to apply I was really surprised to see that I finally made it in.

- What do you do in NT?

I’m a layouter.

- What's your favourite food?

Error hard question. It’s impossible for me to choose a favourite food. xD

- What's your favourite colour?

Since black isn’t counted as a colour, I will say yellow.

- Do you have any pets?

I used to have a dog but he ran away from home and never came back… But soon I will have another doggie. <3

My name is Solveig, and I'm 20 years old. I'm Norwegian, but I moved to England in August to start my uni degree. I'm currently doing a BA (Hons) in contemporary dance, and my life mostly consists of dancing and everything surrounding that field. As I have been travelling a lot for auditions this year, I’ve fallen in love with the world and want to continue to discover new places. I’m a dreamer, that just describes me so well since I’m always daydreaming.

- How did you discover VP?

I discovered VP after someone posted a link in a Facebook group for for Norwegian goSupermodel. When I created my account here all the gSm nostalgia hit me, and I haven’t gone a day without logging in since.

- What's your favourite thing about VP?

I loved playing dress up growing up, so naturally creating outfits and joining fashion contests are my favourite things about VP, but I also love writing in the forums and getting to know new people from all over the world.

- What was your first reaction when you saw you made it into NT?

I was excited of course, but I also got really nervous as this is my first time doing anything like this.

- What do you do in NT?

I love a lot of different foods, but smoothie bowls might be my absolute favorite thing to eat. I also love all different kinds of potatoes, and of course chocolate.

- What's your favourite colour?

My favourite colours are white, gray and black, but I also love pink, red and yellow.

- Do you have any pets?

As I live in a sharehouse where pets aren’t allowed, I don’t have any pets right now, but I’m definitely getting a dog when my living situation becomes more permanent. I love dogs and have had dogs all my life living at my parents house, and currently my parents have a ten-year-old white standard poodle.

My name is Astrid and I’ve just turned 20. I finished the Danish version of high school last summer and now I’m taking a gap year. Currently, I work as a waitress while planning what to do with my life. I’m a big book nerd and my preferred genre is fantasy. I love playing board games, knitting, traveling and cooking.

- How did you discover VP?
I’m part of a Facebook group for people who used to be on the Danish goSupermodel. One day one of the people there posted a link to VP. I thought it might be fun to try, and here I am!

- What's your favourite thing about VP?
The people. I love the community here, there are so many nice and fun people who are a blessing to talk to. Without the people here VP wouldn’t be the same and probably not worth playing.

- What was your first reaction when you saw you made it into NT?
I was really excited!

That is an impossible question to answer, there is way too much delicious food in this world to choose only one dish! If I really had to choose one thing it would probably be curries or vietnamese pho soup.

My favourite colour is the deep dark blue of the sky at dusk.

I'm Sofie, but I don't really use that name online, so you can call me Bloom. I'm 21 years old, I'm half Danish and half Singaporean, and I live in Sweden. I'm in my third year at uni, studying to get a bachelor in gender studies. I love reading, especially crime fiction, and watching TV series. I also like listening to music and cooking.

Through goSupermodel. Towards the end of gSm, a lot of people were talking about VP, so I decided to check it out, and have been here since.

The forums, and the fact that there are people from so many countries here.
