Virtual Popstar is filled with talented people and in this article, I would like to introduce you to two artists on VP, Luxama and Crash!
I would like to say a huge thank you to both of you for letting me interview you.
Now to the interview, enjoy!
Tell us a little bit about yourself?
My name is Mika and I live in Sweden, my 2 main hobbies are games and art, otherwise, I like to play piano/keyboard too.
For how long have you been doing art?
I've always been into art but didn't take it too seriously until 3 years ago.
Why did you start doing art?
I started because my older sister used to draw when I was really young so I copied her, and I guess I thought it was fun.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
From anything really, but mostly games or Pinterest.
What tools/programs do you use?
I use paint tool sai and photoshop cs6 (for the liquify tool only).
What is the most difficult thing to draw?
Hmm, I would say anatomy or clothes.
What is your favourite thing to draw?
Girls!! But more specifically I like to do the coloring the most because that to me is the most chill part of drawing.

Tell us a little bit about yourself?
Hellooo, I'm Esha and I'm pretty new on this server. I've been really active on the dutch server in the past but I like it here more :]. I'm 16 at the moment and hope to become a professional artist in the future!
For how long have you been doing art?
I've been doing art as long as I can remember. I think it was a bit more than 2 years ago that I started taking it seriously and doing it consistently.
Why did you start doing art?
I was really inspired by a lot of artists and friends so I wanted to be able to create art and inspire people too. I've always loved drawing tho.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
Mostly artists on social media. I use Pinterest and Instagram a lot! I feel especially Pinterest is really helpful for when you need inspiration. :]
What tools/programs do you use?
I love drawing both digitally and traditional. For digital art I mostly use Paint Tool Sai, it's a really good program. I've used Krita in the past (which is a great free option) and Photoshop but I think Sai is the easiest to use. For traditional art I love using watercolor and just sketching in pencil.
What is the most difficult thing to draw?
Since I mostly draw people I think the thing I struggle with the most is hands. I feel like I can never draw them right haha.
What is your favourite thing to draw?
Faces! I could draw faces all day long.
