Right at the end of June, the 28th to be exact, we got new manager sets! Both sets are designed by talented Lily / September. The female fairy set features a beautiful long pink dress with flower detailing, a matching flower crown and even some branches leaves growing around her. The male set is inspired by Tom Holland’s lip sync battle performance of Rihanna’s “Umbrella”, featuring an umbrella, some rian and of course the iconic outfit.
A new round of DT’s design motivation to get more people to send in good quality sets to DT was announced July 28th. There are some slight changes which makes you able to either choose to get parts of this quarter’s set or some money if your sets get accepted, so if you like to design make sure to check this out!
Read more about the changes and all the information you need regarding DT’s design motivation here. The current set ends September 1st.
This month’s mega credit week ran from July 1st to 7th, and featured a total of 16 incredible sets!
The female packs included sets by our talented designers Lily / September and Ewelein, and of course the two last sets were by Solovey, but this month the credit week also featured female sets by the amazing nondesigners Mordiera and Leda! Leda also designed one of the sets from the male cr packs, as well as two sets by Lily / September and one by Solovey.
In addition to these main sets, with all the female packs you also got a bonus set made by Solovey of one of the Trix from the animated tv series Winx, which a lot of people felt nostalgic about and loved. This meant that this month females could get a total of 12 sets if they bought the highest pack!
If you missed this month, you can check out all the sets here!
This month’s action fell between Saturday the 6th and Sunday the 7th. The pd sets both featured nondesigners; Helmii designed the male set and Leda the female one. Whereas the cr sets were designed by Lily / September for males and Solovey for females.
While a lot of people have been away on summer vacation, there have been a lot of competitions - and competition updates - this month to help pass the time faster.
ET: Supernatural winners
The winners of ET’s Supernatural dress up competition was announced here. Big congrats to everyone!
ET: Apollo (greek mythology series) + winners
The second of ET’s Greek God dress up competitions was based on “The God of the sun and light, music and poetry, healing and plagues, prophecy and knowledge, order and beauty, archery and agriculture “: Apollo. The winners were announced in this forum, and they won some very cute outfits made by Helmii.
ET: Design competition
The theme for ET’s design competition this month is ‘Glamour’. As it has been with the past few design competitions, it wasn’t necessary to make a skin, hopefully making more people submit designs. This month’s prizes were made by Gravitation and Upshift/Djinn.
SMT: wwib x2
SMT has hosted not one but two WWIB competitions this month.
The first one was hosted by Instagram. Here you had to style a pair of bat-like wings for a chance to win some super cute dino shirts and flags made by Wishbone. The winners have yet to be announced.
The second WWIB this month is hosted by Twitter, and after finishing reading this magazine, there will still be a few hours left to get a last minute entry in! Female accounts have to style a flowery short dress, while the male accounts get to have fun with a hair/makeup combo item. The prizes are two hairs by Jen.
SMT: July raffle + winners
SMT’s July raffle was hosted by Facebook. Here you had a chance to win some gorgeous sets, the female made by Intimate and the male by Leda. The winners were then found and announced in this forum.
SMT: Pair dress-up contest
This month Tumblr is hosting a pair dress-up competition, ending fairly soon after this magazine is published (meaning you still have a chance to participate!). After finding a partner (there were a forum made to help with that), both had to dress up based on a tv show. The prizes are sets made by Leda based on two characters from the show Stranger Things. The competition is still ongoing, but keep your eyes on Tumblr for any updates.
