Auction
The June auctions were held on June 4th. Unfortunately there were no sets for the males this month. For players with female avatars there were two sets both made by Areximache. The PD set looked like it had just stepped out of Pride and Prejudice or Bridgerton. While the CR set also had historical elements with some mummy inspiration, it was far more fantastical than the PD set.
Mega Credit Week
The mega Credit Week started May 30th and lasted until Sunday June 5th. It featured 8 female sets and two male ones. The female €2 was a purple space rabbit set made by Areximache, the €6 a pastel set by Ouch, the €12 a flapper girl made by Rye and the €24 a flower power set by Aske. For €48 you received two sets, a runway look by Talent & Bones and a fantasy ninja by Solovey. The €96 granted two sets as well: a maid set made by Lonika and a purple and orange elf outfit by Solovey. The €2 male set was a Korean inspired outfit made by Kino, while the €6 was the male counterpart to the female €48 set made by Talent & Bones. You can find all the sets here. According to the poll, the favourite set this month was Aske’s €24, closely followed by the €98 Lonika set.
Moderator Applications
It’s been two years since the last round of moderator applications but on June 1st the moderators announced they would host applications again! They haven’t told us how many new moderators we will get, all we know is that there will be a bootcamp. The deadline was yesterday so we in the NewsTeam want to wish everyone that applied the best of luck, we are really looking forward to seeing who will make it through to the bootcamp. New ForumTeam members
The ForumTeam has been dead for around half a year but this June it was brought back to life. With a bunch of new members, we are hoping and looking forward to a lot of new and interesting forums and topics to discuss. SMT: WWIB June
The SMT’s “Who wore it best” this month was hosted by the Instagram team. For this WWIB you had to use a mushroom bag, a matching bag for both female and male users, and the best outfits won a beautiful hair by Bones. ET: The Great VP Bake Off - Signature
The EventTeam started a new event series this month, “The Great VP Bake Off” and it started with the “signature bake”. The event is highly inspired by the TV show “The Great British Bake Off” but for this event, you had to use the ET member Cimorene’s wardrobe and create an outfit inspired by a cherry pie and a cherry hat item had to be included in the outfit. The winners received a beautiful set by Allie. You can more info about the event here.
ET: Pokémon Dressup
The EventTeam also hosted a Pokémon dressup competition, the users had to make an outfit inspired by a Pokémon of the user’s choice. The beautiful prizes were designed by Pastellilapsi. The deadline was June 20th. You can find the forum were the competition was hosted if you click here.
