The Ultimate Guide to Procrastination! (by Jasmine )

Procrastination is possibly the worst thing ever. Basically, it means to put something off until later... which I may or may not have been doing all week...

So, I thought I'd better get on with writing this article... one day before I need to put it up... sorry. Then, after spending an entire day thinking up a load of ideas for this article (or procrastinating, but if I pretend I was thinking about what to put in the article then it immediately makes me look like I have a life!) I actually realised that I had nothing done... So here is a list of the best ways to procrastinate ever!

  • Drink as many cups of water, milk, tea, coffee or any other beverage as possible, and take as long as possible making them. Oh, you also need to leave cups with a bit of un-finished drink left in them all over the house. It will make a great cleaning up job for later!
  • Text some friends, y'know, to get some inspiration.
  • Listen to some music.
  • Eat as much junk food as you can cram into your mouth.
  • Organise your pencils, it might come in handy, you never know!
  • Check Virtualpopstar, Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter or any other website you love for the millionth time today.
  • Why don't you write a story? That could be fun!
  • Read a book or play a video game or something.
  • Make a list of what you should be doing.
  • Draw on your face with a sharpie pen. (I highly recommend not doing this, unless you have a way to get the drawings off your face.)
  • Get a hobby horse and dance around the room dressed as a knight.
  • Learn the cup song. (This is a great way to procrastinate because not only does it take ages to learn but it also takes ages to learn to put the words to it and you find yourself using any object near you once you have gotten the hang of it.)
  • Look at a load of pictures on WeHeartIt and claim that you are going to use them for the background of your article... No, of course that's not what I'm doing right now! How dare you!
  • Clean your bedroom.
  • Sing songs from musicals very loudly to annoy your family, neighbors and friends.
  • Start to realise that you should be getting on with whatever it is that you are supposed to be doing but are in fact not doing.
  • Try to lick your elbow.
  • Measure your toes.
  • Learn how to speak fluently in some language you don't know.
  • Colour-coordinate your wardrobe.
  • Turn the tv on but don't watch it, just use it as a background noise.
  • Oh, and last on the list, write an article on how to procrastinate.

Good luck!

Um...It's good. Didn't read through all of it but it was good. I read the news when I'm bored but a lot of the times, the news aren't that catchy.
