Sometimes while browsing youtube, it's refreshing to find interesting, not-so-popular youtubers to subscribe to. Recently, I've come across a few subscribable youtubers that I'd like to share with the vp community.
This youtuber comes across as odd and quirky. Her thrift hauls can be viewed weekly, yet she also makes videos on her collections and other unique aspects of her life. Being a thrifty chick, she often finds various clothing items as well as little knick-knacks that she places around her room. Both may excite her to the point that she may break out into dance or make a witty comment mid-haul. Other than that, she does also make videos about serious topics she has encountered. Frequently, she reminds me that I am not the only weird person on this planet. And that is awesome!
Another youtuber deserving of credit is an English cupcake enthusiast who owns her own cupcake shop and shares some of her delicious recipes via Youtube. Not only does she whip up cupcake tutorials, but also other baked good tutorials including meringue, buttercream frosting, and scones. She is very thorough within her videos, making sure to explain the right procedures. However, this doesn’t take away from the video; she often adds a dash of cuteness to the mixture. Her love for baking is evident through the dishes she creates that look oh so yummy.
She's not your average beauty guru youtuber. This youtuber doesn’t focus much on how to perfectly achieve a desired look, but how to create a look purely for entertainment and through one’s individuality. Although she may not use the right “techniques” used to apply makeup, that’s the beauty of her videos. She often makes it up as she goes along, bringing a sense of hilarity to her videos that will surely have you busting a gut. Regardless of what type of video she uploads, she can always seem to make it amusing through her carefree yet sarcastic personality.
Using their wonderful creativity skills, this youtuber takes snip bits of other youtubers’ videos and creates video collages from them. Each of the videos made has a certain theme and song that expresses the main message; a message that usually relates to a certain emotion or topic. I am in awe at how a single person could put such detailed, magical masterpieces together. When watching these videos, it’s as if you can empathize with what a certain youtuber is going through. It is nice to take a step back and realize that even youtubers experience similar challenges that we do.
