What's going on in the real world?
~ Calling all my younger friends on VP - the author Candace Fleming, author of The Fabled Fourth and Fifth Graders of Aesop Elementary is currently working on The Fabled Sixth Graders of Aesop, so make sure you keep your eye out for when it's released!
~ Police in Dubai, India have now added a Lamborghini to the police car system - how cool!
~ The Greek island Skorpios has now been sold for over 100 million dollars..watch the video
here and find out the details.
~ A recent bombing happened in Boston. Two have been confirmed dead, including an 8 year old girl. Over 100 are injured and up to 10 people have had their limbs amputated. A suspect has been captured but many speculate that it was just because of the color of his skin: he was Saudi Arabian. Why did the bombing happen? Some can conclude it is because of the recent hunger strikes in Guantanamo Bay or perhaps a response. Some believe that the Newtown Massacre may have something to do with it as the final mile of the race was dedicated to Newtown and many families were there.
~ As well as the bombings in Boston, there was a massive massacre in Iraq. This bombing has killed fifty five people. These bombings involved car bombs.
