This month Designer Appreciation I had honor to interview a very talented uprising non-Designer. Lately, she's been a true saviour for the males on VP by creating a ton of gorgeous male sets. Of course, I'm talking about non-other than Freckle!

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

My name is Freckle and I’m from Germany. I love art, I’ve been drawing since childhood and nowadays I especially like to draw portraits, preferably with coloured pencils. I love to play with makeup, for me, it's also a form of art. I like listening to music and I love fashion. I've always been quite shy but I express myself through my creativity.

Why/How did you start designing for VP?

Before VP I designed for gsm and I think it became a hobby. It's kinda cool to see your own creations in-game.

How long have you been designing for VP?

I started designing for VP in 2015.

How long do you approximately spend on designing one set?

If I'm motivated, a few hours. I'm pretty fast I'd say. I don't like to take breaks because otherwise, I'll start working on a new design.

How long do you spend on designing on a weekly/monthly basis?

Too much tbh, sometimes I have too much motivation and design one thing after another, on other days I

have no motivation at all.

Do you have a set that means something special to you or that had a special story behind it when you created it?

They have no special meaning, I love every single one of them. It makes me happy to see how far I've come.

What program do you use for designing? And do you use a mouse or a drawing tablet?

I'm using paint tool sai and an XP-pen drawing tablet.

It's not for me I think, maybe one day?
