Happy Monday guys! We're back again today with a few tips for a successful summer!
Do you ever feel like you're taking on more than you can handle? It can happen a lot during summer, I mean you have all of this free time and sometimes we just don't know what to do with it!
We're here today to share a few tips with you on how to handle those summer days so that we avoid over-packing our days and not being able to do all that we want.
We would love to hear your own expectations vs. summer realities as everyone can have their own interpretation on the wording. Also, feel free to share any experiences that you've had with biting off more than you can chew! Happy summer guys!
Hey guys, Hailee here. I hope that you are all enjoying your summer! When I was younger, my friends and I would all get together on the last day of school and talk about things we all wanted to achieve that same summer! In a way, we made our lame versions as a bucket list. We would even hold little competitions to see who could cross off the most of their summer to-do list.
As I grew older, I tried to carry on this tradition. Each summer I would put together a decorative list of things I wanted to do each summer. Now, I wish I could sit here today and say that my summers were always perfect, but they weren't.
Half the time, I wouldn't even get the chance to finish half the things on my list! As much as I wanted to strive, I found it hard sometimes and then you are just left with an unfinished list of stuff to push over to the next summer.
If I had any tips for people who are planning to make bucket lists over the summer, make them simple. Don't overdo it and include things you know you most likely won't get done. For example; setting an unreasonable amount of books to read(i.e. Reading 5 books vs. reading 20 books in one summer).
I know in my case, I usually just sit around for most of the summer and don't do much. Although, it may not seem like the best summer. To me, it makes for one relaxing time!
Do you guys have any plans for this summer? If so, share them with us!
Hey guys, Sarah here. If you're anything like me, you have a million things you want to do during the summer, and you probably only get to a couple of them. It's ok! The main thing is to just have fun and enjoy yourself!
I have a bad habit of setting too unrealistic weight loss goals. Let's be honest here. For me, summer is about BBQs, ice cream, and picnics. It can be difficult to keep those weight loss goals with all the delicious food available. My tip: just don't overdo it! It's ok to have a scoop of ice cream or a burger! Try having healthier side options, like salad and fruit.
Anything I have trouble keeping with is exercise! "I'm going to run once a day and go to the gym". Yeah right! But there are many summer activities you can do to exercise and have fun doing it! Go swimming, play volleyball, go for a bike ride, take a nice walk on a trail nearby, or walk around the mall! (Air conditioning is great).
Just don't make unachievable goals for yourself. You'll give up a lot faster that way. Take it one small step at a time, and just try to have a fun stress free summer!
Hello guys! Iu's here!
Summer is the season for setting goals and planning on achieving them. The secret is trying your best, but more important should be the thing called „knowing when it's enough”.
If you're more of a couch potato who loves to eat and gains weight fifty percent more than the average, as I am, don't start your summer by setting a goal like „I'll be all healthy and do exercises everyday”! Be realistic and do what you can. If you want to eat healthy, go and buy fruit and other nutritional things! Document yourself, not only start the thing without knowing what you should be doing!
If there's a thing I know about setting goals, it is that procrastinating should never occur. Never try setting such big and almost unrealistic goals, because then you'll feel bad for not really achieving them! Even though you should not. If you try and try, but just can't do the thing, it's a sign! You tried! Be proud about that!
Summer should be FGF, which means Fun-Goals-Freedom. Try and combine those three terms and everything will work just well! It's about you trying to get out of your comfort zone, and if you're brave enough just to do it a bit, you already are awesome!
Try and load your mind with positivity and take another people's example! If they did it, it's not impossible!
