The time has come, the NewsTeam is holding applications! Do you enjoy writing interesting texts or do you prefer to make beautiful layouts? Do you work well in a team and want to work in a small team with a bunch of lovely people? Then the NewsTeam might be the right for you! If you are interested then make sure to send us an application by using the format in the text box to the right. This time the application format looks a bit different from last year so read everything carefully!
We also just wanted to make you all aware that we are prioritising layouter applications this time around. This doesn't mean that we won't let any new writer(s) in, but getting a few new layouters is our main focus, and thus if you are considering applying for the layouter position, we would highly encourage you to do so.

If you are applying to be a writer, please submit two texts written by you, one that could be for an article and one that could be for a page in the NT magazine. If you are applying to be a layouter, please submit two layouts made by you. One needs to have text boxes and look like a layout for an actual article, you choose the subject of the article. The second one needs to have at least one text box and look like a layout for a magazine page, choose one of these pages for your layout: Team Updates, VP News or Competition Updates.
Important information: - The size of a normal article is: 688/708 x own choice px
- The size of a magazine layout is: 688x500 px
- The minimum word count for the magazine page is 200 words while the maximum is 500 words.
- The minimum word count for the main article text is 400 words and the maximum is 800 words.
- Layouters; It's not required to have previous coding experience to apply but be aware that you need to be willing to learn, at least, some basic coding. The team is always willing to help each other to learn new codes to improve our articles.
