Snow White is a fictional character used in many different stories. The basis of this fictional character's plot is that a beautiful young girl ate an apple that poisoned her and she fell into deep sleep. The only way out of her sleep was to be kissed by her true love. There was a queen who thought she was the fairest in the land. But, truthfully she was not. Snow White was. The queen decided to have a huntsman kill Snow White. When that did not work the queen took matters into her own hand. Hence the poisonous apple that put Snow White to sleep.
In different Snow White fairytale adaptations Snow White is always the main female role. Whether the story has elves involved or just a simple one paragraph story Snow White is usually always the main role. The story would not exist without her in it. The main role always includes Snow White getting put asleep by the queen. But, what happens around that is up to the writer/author. That is why many of the Snow White adaptations are very creative and no one has ever heard of them before.
There are many different adaptations of Snow White. Such as the Brothers Grimm version which is the first story ever made about Snow White. Snow White is one of the fairytales known worldwide. In the Brothers Grimm adaptation they have basically set the whole story for Snow White up. The basic plot of this story is that Snow White is a beautiful maiden from birth. As she grows older she becomes more and more beautiful. One day the Queen of that land asks a talking mirror who the fairest maiden of the land is. Little did the Queen expect that the mirror said Snow White. The Queen got so angry and flustered she called for a huntsman to hunt down Snow White and kill her. The Huntsman found Snow White, but he couldn’t kill her. It was too hard for him. The Queen found out and went to do the deed herself. She made a poisonous comb and gave it to Snow White. Snow White had no suspicion of this Queen (who was dressed as an old lady) and she combed her hair with the poisonous comb. Then since Snow White lived with seven dwarves, the dwarves came home that day to find Snow White lying on the ground. The dwarves thought that she was dead, so they put her in a glass coffin. But, then the Kings son came into the forest and saw her. He kissed her and she had woken up gently. The Queen was so angry! You probably want to hear the rest, but you’ll have to read it for yourself!
