WANT TO SEE THE FINAL PRODUCT OF ALL THREE NAIL DESIGNS TOGETHER? CLICK HERE!My recommendation for all of these nail tutorials is to mix them up, don't do all your nails in one design! For all of these designs, they are being done on a practice nail wheel and all designs/picture were done by me..if you're wondering.
Let's begin! For this first tutorial, you are going to need a
red and white nail polish, as well as a dark blue glitter polish and nail brush. If you don't have a nail brush, a good substitute is a toothpick, which might take a bit more time. Start by painting your nails with a clear base coat to protect from staining your nails, and then
paint your nails white.Once your nails are white and have dried for atleast two minutes,
put some red polish on a piece of paper, and take your brush or toothpick and dip it into the red polish, begin drawing onto your white nail as shown below. I made a "Z" and then added an extra line to fill in some more space. We're almost done!
After this is done,
allow your nails to dry a bit and then apply your glitter top coat. It doesn't have to be blue, but I suggest it for a nice winter look. The one I am using is by
China Glaze in bling it on. Seal it all in with a top coat to protect from chipping. That's it, you're done! I've noticed how this design gives a lovely candy cane feel, but the blue glitter also reminds me of the American flag and snow fall!
