The Paw Project is a documentary focused on the negative consequences of declawing. Declawing, removing the claws from either a wild or domestic cat, does more damage to a cat than just depriving it of its nails. It can cause the cat to experience pain while walking and possible depression because it literally cripples the paws of the cats. To put it in perspective, declawing the paws of a cat is similar to cutting off the last knuckle of each of your fingers. Luckily, veterinarian Dr. Jennifer Conrad, has set up the Paw Project to aid declawed cats and to inform owners of the negative consequences of declawing. Yet, after learning the facts about declawing, owners of cats are still declawing to prevent scratching. It leaves many on board with The Paw Project wondering why educated owners are having their cats declawed.
How is declawing seen as an ethical procedure when it causes permanent damage?

Mermaids: The Body Found is a documentary based on a new species that is in the process of being discovered. The numerous whale and dolphin beachings around the world in 2004, initially brought this species to attention. Researchers sent to investigate the beachings, were never aware of the new species found in the beachings due the Navy cleaning up the bodies. Once the researchers had looked into the beachings further, they were able to find evidence of this new species. With the new evidence, they couldn't help but believe that the new species must be linked to a common ancestor of humans. It left them wondering what kind of creature they were dealing with. Can mermaids be real?
