Hey guys, It's Georgia! Wow it feels like ages since my last article. I apologize for missing the past few weeks as there has been a lot going on, including what I'm going to tell you about in my article. I hope you all enjoy :)

So on the 25th of march I turned 16. My mum and dad suggested that we all went to the sea side for the day so that was what I assumed we would be doing. As soon as I went to bed the night before my birthday I wasn't aloud out of my bedroom and I wasn't aloud to know what time we had to get up as well. So at six in the morning I am already awake, excited to see what the day brings when my  dads alarm goes off. My mum and dad then come into my bedroom along with cards and presents. We sat on my bed and I opened them all. I was very lucky this year as I got lots of money, two pairs of shoes, a pair of slippers, perfume, clothes, a driving experience and a few others things you will find out about as the story moves on. Now they left the thing I was most excited about til last. You see I already knew what this was and I opened the little Tiffany blue box and there was the ring I had been excited for. It was the last thing I had to open until actually, it wasn't. There was a little Tiffany envelope with a card inside. I opened it up and it said 'to our beautiful daughter Georgia, Happy 16th Birthday! Get up and get ready because your going to LONDON!!! Love from your mum and dad xxxxxx' As I sat on my bed with the little card in my hands it didn't really set in for a minute until then I realised that we were going to my favourite place in the world. 

So half an hour later we were all ready to go until my dad lost his keys. We had just started packing up my mums car when dad found his keys in his coat pocket, after saying he had checked his coat pocket. So once we were finally packed up and headed to London. When were driving through London it was very hectic and there was lots of traffic. Although on the bright side, we did think we saw the Queen! We finally made it through the London traffic and arrived at the hotel we would be staying in. We checked in and then went down to the bar to have a drink before we went exploring for the day. 

Now my granddad always says hello to me in the same way and if you here it you just know it's him. So what did I hear? 'Heloooo' I turned around and there stood my grandparents. Now I wasn't expecting this, I thought it would just be me, my mum and my dad but my mama and granddad were staying in London with us! So we did then actually sit down for a drink and all of a sudden my mum pulled out a slim wrapped package that was wrapped in beautiful pink paper. As I opened it my mum said 'Just an Idea for what we can do tonight' When I opened it I pulled out an envelope. Once the envelope was open I pulled out five tickets to Mama Mia! Now I saw Mama Mia in London when I was 14 and wanted to go back ever since and I always told my parents that when I have my own job and money I will take them to London to see Mama Mia. Turns out, they took me instead! 

After we had a drink we decided to have a walk. Now to get to where we need to be in London we had to walked down the side of the River Thames and there are always, always, always street performers there. There happened to be a man playing happy birthday on a steel drum. Now we were all stood on the top of the bridge to get across the river but my dad had gone and asked the man to play happy birthday again but to me this time. So the man asked my name and started to play, pointing to me every time and saying my name as he played happy birthday. As he was playing it a big group of foreign students walked past and clapped me. It was amazing and I was very overwhelmed with how wonderful it was. 
So after that we walked a bit more and went to go and get a slice of cake and have a drink. We went to this gorgeous cafe that had beautiful cakes and desserts in the window. We all had a big slice of cake a drink, although it wasn't as nice as it looked and the service was rubbish. After this we went back to the hotel and started getting ready to go eat in the restaurant before we went to see the show. 

So we had a lovely meal in the hotel and just before we were about to go we heard the hum of happy birthday coming from a candle. I didn't think anything of it until three women who worked there were at our table, one holding a cake, one holding plates and one holding napkins and they all sung happy birthday to me. My mama had brought a cake with her all the way to London on the train! The cake was amazing, it was a light blue cake that looked just like the Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream perfume bottle. 

After that we went to see Mama Mia and we ended the night with lots of dancing. It truly was the best birthday ever. 

So when we returned home after three amazing days in London I thought we were going to have a meal with my grandparents and my uncle and his girlfriend as one last celebration. 

I had my hair done in the morning and spent the rest of the day relaxing until it was time to get ready to go. 

My mum did my makeup and I put on my favourite dress and heels before we went to fetch my Uncle and his girlfriend. We arrived at the restaurant and I became a bit suspicious because I saw my Nana and Granddads car, and I knew it was theirs because it has dent in the back that seems to get bigger every time I see it. I shrugged it of thinking it must just be someone else. 

We walked into the restaurant and then I noticed a load of balloons, two sticking out the most There were banners saying birthday girl and giant balloons that made up 16 and there sat over three tables were all my family. 

I had a fab night, talking to all my cousins and family I hadn't seen in a while and had some amazing food. Once we had finished eating I thought we would order some desserts but all of a sudden everyone started singing happy birthday. There was another cake!!! This cake was amazing, it had all different chocolate treats on it and tasted amazing. 

When we got home we had a drink and a laugh and we ended the best birthday week with a bang. It will go down as the bestest week of my life.
