| Music I like which may or may not be surprising to people that I enjoy Still I have no idea how well people actually know me, but out of sheer curiosity I want to share a few songs I like which I believe might be unexpected. Naturally, some people might be less surprised than others regarding the different songs, but I hope at least one of the songs would surprise anyone who might stumble across this blog post. Feel free to comment on what surprised you, or do share if absolutely none of them surprised you. This might also be fun like some kind of recommendation thing, maybe some of the songs either are unknown to some or maybe they have fallen out of whatever active memory people have. Perhaps some of the songs come across as nostalgic, I have no idea. As I make this I don't have a set plan on what I will add on the list, I'll just go through my mixes on YouTube and add whatever I believe could be perceived as out of character of me. I feel like I should mention that one alleged genre according Spotify, namely Eurovision, will be completely left out of the list as I doubt it would surprise anyone if I liked literally anything from Euroivision. Obviously, I don't like everything from Eurovision, but the general concept appeals to me so it seems pointless to add on a post which is supposed to come across as surprising. I'll start off with a song which is, I'd say, contemporary. I don't think I come off as someone who actually have a clue at all what's up but somehow this thing crossed paths with me and I love it. I've already shared it before, but honestly, I love it. It speaks to me, I don't know why or how - but it nevertheless does. In an attempt to keep it brief regarding this song. It speaks to me. I love it. I've loved it since forever and will love it forever. Lily Allen is underrated. The song is incredibly beautiful and I will fight everyone who disagrees. Allegedly, it is surprising to some that I like One Direction so I'll add it onto the list despite them being the artist/band I listened to the most this decade according Spotify 2019 wrapped. This is the absolute best song they ever made. And I love the animation someone made, idk who, but I remember I really loved it back then. This song might be unavailable in other countries, at least so I've heard before. I think I trash talk Norwegian stuff a lot, but I really like this song. Ironically as love and stuff like that doesn't seem like it appeals to me. Maybe it isn't surprising, perhaps it is even expected? Nevertheless I'll add it here. I guess this qualify as surprising despite me liking One Direction and already having added love songs. I was honestly surprised I didn't find this to be absolute rubbish but I enjoy it and I don't care what other people might think about that because my subjective opinion is that it is a good song. I'll end the list with this one. Allegedly, it would surprise some if I liked rap so here you go. I like this. I listen to this. I love this. Thanks. That was all.
