Hello everyone! And Happy October! 

Just to recap as usual some events that have happened over September. 

At the start of the month during the last Mega Credit week, a unfortunate glitch was found and used by a few members of the community. At the time the matter was being dealt with directly by Kaj and all individuals were contacted. I'd like to thank those individuals who contacted me with relevant information regarding the glitch and confirm that to my knowledge the issue has been resolved and the glitch patched. If any users ever find a glitch of the system that could cause trouble if used- please contact either the moderators or myself straight away. 

On a brighter note, its the month of Halloween and fall! Throughtout October, DT will be bring the spooks to you each week through WOF, HOF and DM sets. If anyone has any Halloween designs on the go, please contact your local teams for events or DT for site usage :)

MCW

On August 31st the Mega Credit Week for September began and it ended on September 6th. In this MCW there were 6 sets in total for females, no bonus sets, and a total of 4 sets for males, no bonus sets there either. The female sets were designed by Lonika, Teddy, Sosjet, Lily and Solovey while the male sets were designed by Songbird, Askr, Lily and Solovey. You can find the MCW forum here. 

Auction

During the first weekend in September, 5th-6th, it was time for the monthly auctions. The auctions consisted of a total of 4 sets, 2 female and 2 male sets, and were made by 3 different designers. The female pd set was made by Mikkelrev and the credits set was made by Solovey. The male pd set was made by Misjel while the male set was a matching set to the female pd set by Mikkelrev. New manager sets

On the 18th it was time for new manager sets for both female and male accounts. The sets, which you can see to the right, are made by Sleepy (fem) and Askr (male). If you would like to get the full sets you need to buy 6 months manager which would cost you 900 credits, definitely worth it for these amazing sets!

This user has been nominated for her generosity, and for creating a welcoming, open space for people to hang out, laugh and enjoy a good conversation. Her open chat thread has created friendships, sparked joy and been a little pocket of positivity within the community. This user will be there for you when you need her, whether you’re an old friend or new acquaintance. She puts a lot of effort into making sure everyone around her is doing well, while still staying true to herself and standing up for what she believes is right.

Kind, generous and a loyal friend, September’s user of the month is Moongirl!

Cheetos

She is one of the most patient and understanding human-being on earth and deserves more than that title. Moongirl is free of prejudice, open-minded, empathetic and a strong personality. She has never changed in her kindness, no matter how bad or tough it was. She tries to make people happy and also has success in it. Her outfits on Vp are cool, she has great interests and you can talk to her about anything. I feel privileged to have met her. 💕

Ella

Moongirl is really a genuine person, she really wants the best for others and it shows. I don't think I have ever seen a pinch of evil in moon to be honest. She really deserves to be user of the month, with the good vibes she brings to vp! 

I think the fact that Moongirl keeps her easy cr thread going everyday is amazing. It is so generous of her, honestly she could stop any day, but she keeps going! Personally for me the credits don't even matter anymore, it's just to be able to join the thread at any time and have a nice group of people to talk too. I made several really good friends from her thread, including moon herself and I'm really thankful for that!

Azriel

Moongirl really deserves to be user of the month because of how nice she is. There is of course the Easy Credit thread, which creates new friendships in return for some free credits. She has given out a lot, and I think a lot of people are very grateful

Laboratory

Moongirl is an absolute gem. She's such a sweet person, and proof of this statement is her easy cr thread. It's been going for forever, and she's put a lot of cr into it. Thanks to her we've got a cozy, positive space from which I personally have gained a whole lot of amazing friendships (and pocketmoney, heh).

Teabag

Moon you are honestly so sweet and kind, I'm not sure you've realized it but thanks to 'easy cr' you've created your own little community. I can confidently say that all of us who've ever taken part of that thread really appreciates what you've started. We joined for the money, but stayed for the friends. Really, thank you, I wouldn't have had the friends I have today if it wasn't for you ♡

This month started off with another edition of LE Sunday, which was held on the 6th of September. This time, a total of 24 sets, plus a number of single items, were made available in the fashion shop for a limited amount of time. Starting from 18.00 CEST, every half an hour the shop was updated with new sets and items. Many of the sets were designed by Masilein, but the shop was also filled with designs from Solovey, Lonika, Wishbone, Rye, Rosa, Myung, Rhosynnau as well as some unbadged designers. Most of the sets were sold for credits, but there were a few pd items as well. Unfortunately, there were no male items this time. To see all the released sets, click here!

Towards the end of the month, both ET and SMT looked to spread some fun on VP by hosting two different games. During the past weekend, ET member Laboratory hosted a punk related quiz, in which users had to get three correct answers in order to receive a punk related set made by Zaiden (for females) or 200 credits (for males). Over a few days, the SMT's Twitter team hosted several rounds of the drawing and guessing game sketchful.io, where the female winners received a pink set made by Ouch, while male winners got their hands on a colourful set made by Freckle.

It was a rather busy month for ET, hosting a total of 5 events. While most of them were dress up theme, it was fun to see how different each one could be!

First competition was the Selenelion comp, where users were told to find a partner and create outfits based on the sun and the moon. The prizes were designed by Teddy for the females and Ouch for the males.

Next comp run by ET was Ascension to Asgard- Battle of the Bards. There will be 4 rounds , where the users with the highest scores will win these lovely sets designed by Mikkelrev.

Users were told to write a poem inspired by Asgard with at least 2 stanzas (like verses). Users for round one had the chance to win this hair designed by Somsoc.

The next comp was Welcome to Hogwarts, where users were given 4 flags of the Hogwarts houses and asked to make an outfit based on the house they are in. There were 8 female winners from each house and Male users were based on entry numbers. The winners received these sets designed by Decinne.

The fourth comp this month hosted by ET is the Zeus comp, continuing the God/Goddess themed comps. Users were told to dress up as a representation of the god of lightning, Zeus. The prizes were designed by Askr. Winners are still yet to be announced. 


Last but not least, we have the Fairy Dressup comp, where we heard a rather sad story about a fairy realm that was wasting away after someone stole their crystals. Together, we can sbring back the light and save the fairies! Users were told to dress up to reflect the old ways of the fairies. Winners of the comp will receive fairy designs by Lily. Winners have yet to be announced. 


 

SMT have been busy with their applications this month, but have still had time to bring us our monthly Who Wore It Best. The theme of the month seemed to be backgrounds, as users were asked to use these backgrounds for their outfit.
